Wedding dress trial day is an inspiring day, don’t forget to tag your bestie or your sibling for the recommendation. After trials, you both can plan a coffee and discuss wedding dresses in detail. With all the excitement, don’t forget to bring your favourite images to the trail session and tell them the style of dress you are interested in and your budget, of course! Trying on a dress that’s well outside of your budget will only lead to frustration, and the last thing your consultant wants to do is put you in a dress you can’t afford. Make a day of it and invite essential people into your life, like your mother, sister, maid of honour, bridesmaids, etc. But keep this in mind—the more you invite, the more opinions there are.

Wearing a little naughty nude strapless bra is always the best choice on the wedding day! Do wear a nude strapless bra to try on gowns. Deciding on a wedding dress might take a little extra time than what you had planned but having a strapless nude bra on your trial day makes the process much easier.
Many bridal shops only carry one dress for each style. Most of the time, a consultant will be helping you in and out of dresses, making sure each one is clipped in just the right places, so you’ll have a good idea of what the dress should look like.
You might also want to bring a pair of heels or shoes similar to what you think you might wear on the big day. It also never hurts to bring a bottle of water (if the bridal salon allows outside beverages in the store)—it can get pretty warm while you’re trying on dresses, and so to remind you, little bride, to be, stay hydrated!
Don’t limit yourself, do try once the styles you least expect!
Sometimes we think, the style that will not suit us looks the best on our body type. So, keep a little extra room in your mind to try something out of your preference or what your fashion consultant suggests. Trusting one’s instincts is the best option, but do trust your consultant too during your appointment. They pick out dresses for brides daily and have a better idea of their inventory. You may be surprised and choose a gown you least expect! The more you communicate with your bridal consultant, the better your experience will be.
Don’t Forget to match your Veil!
If you’re on the fence about a dress, ask to try on a veil, headpiece or jewellery (if the bridal salon carries those items). Accessories can sometimes add that extra bit of detail that might be missing—it’s the icing on the cake! The sample dress you fall in love with might not be the colour you’re looking for, but you might be able to order it!
Make sure to tell them precisely what you do or don’t like about each dress you try on—after the trails, always go with the dress that your heart thinks suits you the best and the dress that reminds you of your beloved! While you stand in front of the mirror and despite seeing yourself, you feel that your beloved is watching you with a smile!
